I’ve been pondering how many cupcakes a mother bakes during the first 18 years of her children’s lives. About 8 billion I think. I know I baked over 100 yesterday for my son’s confirmation class. (He turns 16 this weekend and still loves cupcakes, thank goodness!) I found myself really taking my time with these cupcakes because it dawned on me how darn old my kids have gotten so very fast. 8 billion cupcakes had somehow gone by in a blur of chocolate frosting and I wanted to make sure I savored every moment of this batch. While spreading the icing, I counted up well past 8 billion blessings in my world and realized… Life is good. I am grateful. 🙂
How many cupcakes…
